A little bit ago I was asked to gather some information about pump pressures with respect to the angle of the swashplate. Now, since I am not an engineer, this term went over my head, and hence I have to take some time to understand what this meant.

I have seen many hydraulic system drives but have never known how they worked. I am happy to say that now one of the many wonders of hydraulic engineering has been unveiled to me, including the Schwing Stetter Parts and it is very interesting also!

Fundamentally, a circle of pistons and cylinders are connected to an angled plate spins. Both the cylinder block and the angled plate spin simultaneously so the swash plate pulls the pistons in and out as every piston or cylinder moves around the circle. The changeable angle of the plate decides how much the pistons actually move in and out for every revolution. The same mechanism can also be noticed in the Siemens parts.

The pistons moving away from and out of the cylinder block are drawing hydraulic oil in those cylinders while the ones that are moving back into it are pushing the oil out, and thereby brought it around the other side, and hence oil is forced to move continuously from one side to the other.

Noticing that the cut-away working display truly assisted me to realize what was actually going on. Hence, now next time someone discusses with me the angle of the swashplate, I will easily figure out what they mean. I now realize that the same kind of mechanism is also utilized in Liugong parts. If you are planning to buy these parts, you can easily look for them online and get the one that suits your budget.
